D&D Racing is named after my son Dave and myself (Dave). We started racing in 2016.
I derived the number 909 by adding up my sonsβ MX number (733), my daughtersβ MX number (9) and the number my wife chose for her dirt bike (167).
We started desert racing with Bonneville Off Road Racing in the UTV Sportsman class in 2019. So crazy fun!!
For the 2022 race season I changed classes from the Sportsman UTV class to the UTV Pro N/A class so I had to change my number from 909 to 1909.
We are a family based race team that is supported by friendsand Edge Powersports in Draper, UT. My son and I started our UTV racing career in the Herriman/Draper, UT Enduro-Challenges and then moved into desert racing. My son was unable to attend a number of races as heβs currently a student at the University of Utah so a co-worker serves as my primary Co-Pilot. When Dave can get away from school/work then he co-pilots and I drive. He was my co-pilot for our first completed desert race.

We are definitely grateful for the whole D&D Team!
My wife is the Co-Owner of D&D Racing, thank you for always supporting my crazy passion.
My son Dave is the navigator. His eye for lines, terrain, and corners is always spot on.
Randy does awesome fiscal work to
keep us racing and heβs our primary fueler. He also brings his sons, Brayden and Colton out to work the pits at races.
Magic Mike does all the wrenching on the WILDCAT XX, in preparation and on race. His wife Sam works the pits with Mike and they are an awesome pit team.
Phil navigates when Dave canβt get out of school. Phil braved some of the most brutal races as we were learning this whole desert race sport.
Cody did all the wrenching and fabrication to get D&D to their first endurance race in 2019.
James is always eager to come out and support however he can. Much appreciated James!
A happy team!
All ready to go. Its almost time to race
Waiting to start
Around 600 desert race miles with zero issues in the 2023 season.
